Abstract :
The problem of wave dissipation due to a transversely-magnetized ferrite layer in a plane-parallel waveguide has been solved. The convergence of numerical computations of the dissipation matrix elements depends on the size of the magnetic field. The diffraction characteristics´ behaviour in the single-mode frequency band has been analyzed. The expressions for the coefficients of reflection and transmission have been obtained in analytical form
