Abstract
Devices for detonation velocity measurement, fragmentation analysis, burden measurement, face velocity measurement, vibration monitoring, and computer modeling are reviewed. Detonation measurement devices include: averaging velocity of detonation (VOD) meters and continuous VOD systems. Power meters and a computer imaging system for fragmentation analysis are discussed. Electronic burden meters and surface survey systems for burden measurement are examined. High-speed cameras and their use in face velocity measurement are discussed. Electronic seismographs used in vibration monitoring are briefly touched on
