Abstract :
In analyzing and processing the acquired sea clutter data, the spectrum is a very important characteristic. The acquired sea clutter data can be treated as a kind of nonlinear and non-stationary data. The traditional processing method, such as Fourier Transform or Wavelet Transform, etc., is not a good deal for processing it. To extract the spectrum characteristics of the acquired sea clutter data effectively, Hilbert Huang transform, a time-frequency analysis method, is introduced in this paper. Compared with the traditional Fourier transform, the results show that the spectrum characteristic of the acquired sea clutter can be reflected intensively by the method based on the Hilbert-Huang transform.
