Abstract
The most common problem facing plant operators is the inability to increase clinker production due to limiting preheater fan capabilities. Preheater fan replacement is a very costly and time consuming alternatives. The author deals with alternatives to replacing the preheater fan. These alternatives include modifying the preheater tower for increases in clinker production and improved preheater operating efficiencies
