Abstract :
The current state of Western-style management expertise in the USSR is inadequate. Soviet universities, therefore, have been integrating business subjects into their curriculum. Technical communicators will have to cooperate with these Soviet graduates/managers to ensure that information and technology are efficiently transmitted to, and used by, company employees at the foreign location. The authors describe a survey completed by Soviet business students concerning their attitudes toward Western business and the implications that these attitudes could have for technical communicators.<>
