Abstract
Active noise control has been applied to various acoustic noise problems. In the acoustic noise problems, some additional functions are required to active noise control, e.g. verbal speech communication, speech communication via wired or wireless communication channels, comfortable personal audio, and so on. In this paper, some additional functions are integrated into active noise control and some simulation and experimental results are given in order to demonstrate the effectiveness. Concretely, a head-mounted ANC system with speech communication via wired or wireless communication channel is introduced. In this system, the error microphones and secondary loudspeakers are also used as an interface to realize the speech communication. In this paper, the effectiveness of the proposed ANC system is demonstrated through some noise reduction experiments.
