  • Abstract
    The paper focuses on the development and implementation by means of dSPACE-based hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation and experiment of a Direct Thrust Force Control (DTFC) for a two-phase tubular permanent-magnet actuator (TPMA), with discussion on electric supply, inverter topologies, and applicability. The results of the embodied control strategy in real time direct-drive systems confirm its applicability, highlighting the most important features of operation.
