  • Abstract
When developing new electronic and electrical products in the future, a major challenge will be lessening the environmental impact of the product. To help produce products that are environmentally sound, the authors have created the “eco-design” concept. This concept incorporates the eco-product concept, the basic guideline for manufacturing products with low energy needs and the eco-use concept, which promotes the sharing of parts between products. Two prototype models (personal computer and electronic appliances) were produced based on this eco-design concept
