Summary form only given, as follows. In this paper, the history of millimeter wave and THz research and applications in China and the current projects supported by China government related to millimeter wave and THz communications are briefly reviewed, some typical achievements in millimeter wave and THz components, systems and integrated circuits from some universities and institutes in China are introduced.
