Popularizing Microwave Education and Research in India

Summary form only given, as follows. This paper presents a glimpse of the activities carried out at our institute during the last three decades. Details of a special Master level program conceived at our institute to popularize Microwave Education and Research in India are then presented. Novel educational trainer kits developed to impart training to the students to familiarize them with practical aspects of Microwave ICs are described. Efforts made through IEEE MTT local chapters to motivate students are presented.
