Abstract
According to the incomplete cross-hole projections in Lamb wave tomography, a new tomographic reconstruction method combining simulated annealing (SA) and simultaneous iterative reconstruction technique (SIRT) is developed in this paper. In order to deal with the problem of incomplete constraint, simulated annealing (SA) method in statistic physics is introduced into the iteration of SIRT method. Based on the assumption of continuity among image pixels, constraint of most stable solution is added to get the optimal solution by SA method. The method is compared to the usual SIRT. The simulated reconstruction images and their cross-sectional slices of the images for two different defects have been used for the evaluation.
