Abstract :
The novel approach reported in this paper optimizes the start-up characteristics and drive sensitivity factor for achieving high performance voltage controlled crystal oscillator circuit (VCXO). An example of 100 MHz mode feedbacks and differential coupled VCXOs are demonstrated for the validation of this new approach, which allows fast start-up dynamics, including 8-12 dB phase noise reduction, therefore, low noise, power-efficient and cost-effective solutions.
