Abstract
Work was conducted at IBM to develop a random vibration test that would provide an efficient and reasonably worst-case simulation of the actual vibration environment for IBM equipment operating at customer installations. The random vibration test techniques developed for military products were investigated and then tailored for use with commercial computer products
