Abstract :
Advancement of digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms have afforded a wealth of adaptive filtering options while advancements in software has lead to the C++ language and the object-oriented generation of programming. The advantages of object-oriented programming (OOP) over conventional structured programming are reviewed, differences between selected adaptive filters are discussed and a C++ program used for performance comparisons of these filters is presented
