Abstract
A microsystem which controls the temperature on a sensor-chip and classifies gases, both by means of fuzzy logic, is presented. Based on a realized chip, the design and the optimization of the on-chip fuzzy temperature control are described. The results of the optimization, including genetic algorithms and evolutionary strategies, are provided. Beside the practical results the probability of reaching the final fitness in a single optimization run can be estimated
