Abstract
In order to improve the characteristics of the system design process, a new general methodology for electronic system design has been elaborated by means of an optimum control theory formulation. This approach generalizes the design process and generates an infinite number of different design strategies that can be resolved in optimum time. The principal difference between this new method and previously elaborated methods is the more general approach on the definition of system parameters. The main equations for the system design process have been elaborated. These equations include special control functions that are introduced artificially into consideration to generalize the total design process. Numerical results demonstrate the efficiency and perspective of the proposed approach.
