Abstract :
This paper focuses on the power control for secondary users in terms of spectrum utilization efficiency to make up the current absence of a basic power control rule for cognitive radio. First, transmission power in each secondary user is given to get the best spectrum utilization efficiency based on the four kinds of scenarios into which we decompose the real cognitive radio environment. Then, we analyze the influence from each parameter to the spectrum utilization efficiency. Finally, aiming at each of those four scenarios, a group of advanced power control schemes for secondary users is proposed according to the numerical results of transmission power.
