Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. This paper proposes a PTFE-filled waveguide cruciform coupler with air-filled posts. Directivity and matched state of the coupler can be realized by “holes” in the dielectric material. The difference of dielectric constant is positively used in designing. The PTFE-filled waveguide cruciform 3dB coupler is designed at Q-Band. Then, the coupler is fabricated using the SR etching process of PTFE, sputter deposition, and electroplating. The measurement results of the fabricated coupler are shown.
