Abstract
This paper presents the investigations of possibility to use a ceramic tile composed of waste sludge from wastewater treatment plant which contained of heavy metals as pathway for the blind. This ceramic tile have been expected to have no any bumpy surface but can be detected by some special cane to detect the tile on the pathway. By this research, we found the Hall effect sensor is suitable to detect and analyze nondestructively the degree of heavy metal mixed in the ceramic tile. The experimental result indicated that Hall effect sensorpsilas output vary with the proportion of the sludge in the ceramic mixture. When applying a radial-basis function network for analysis and classification, we found that the Hall effect sensor can detect and classify the ceramic tile in 4 groups depending on the proportion of the sludge in the ceramic mixture which imply that we can utilize the ceramic combination in various ways rather being only the common mark on the path for the blind.
