Abstract :
This paper presents a high performance computing and visualization system for integrated circuit (IC) electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) modelling, simulation and optimization. Due to the variety and complexity of IC EMC models, the resources on a single computer are not always sufficient to complete certain large simulation or complicated optimization tasks in a short period of time. Distributed and parallel computing can solve the problem. Therefore, a new computing methodology is proposed in order to meet these requirements.
