Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. The high optical performance of hybrid-dielectric loaded plasmonic waveguide (HDLW) components is reported. As a result, a 90-degree-circular bend provides a total loss of 0.3 dB with a small bending radius of 2um. A ring resonator based component shows the excellent performance with small ring radius 5um, large free spectral range (22nm), a narrow bandwidth (4nm), and high extinction ration (20dB). Their superior performance makes them promising building blocks for nano-photonic integrated circuits.
