Abstract :
Reflection-transmission phenomena in sculptured thin films (STFs) of the “zigzag”-type have been considered. A finite layer of the STF has been modeled as obliquely incident on a single Motohiro-Taga interface has been solved. This solution incorporated into the generalized scattering matrices method has been used for evaluation of the transmission and reflection coefficients of a finite layer
