Abstract :
A Sibling cycle engine of novel design has been developed and tested as a cryocooler in computer simulations. The number of valve components is reduced to a minimum. The design is described, and projected performance figures are given. The use of isothermalizers makes improved heat transfer possible. Predicted performance at 80 K is good
