Abstract :
In this paper, a multiuser receiver, which cancels the multiple access interference (MAI) of the stage-based fractional number of users, is proposed for CDMA systems. In each stage, MAI of fractional number of users is regenerated and subtracted from the received signal. The fractional number is defined according to the number of successive stages. The simulation results show that the performance can be significantly improved by the proposed scheme compared to the conventional multistage detector
