Abstract
The strategic problem of how to develop a truly mathematical understanding of the brain and the mind is addressed. A condensed review of new work in neurocontrol in areas relevant to neurobiology and humanistic psychology is given. Major links to biology and humanistic psychology are given elsewhere in nonmathematical terms. The author touches on the high points, and mentions new links and areas for experimentation which have emerged just recently
