Abstract
By the influence of complex terrain and topography in Karst area, highway construction has inevitable brought a lot of environment problems such as cultivated land occupation, soil erosion and vegetation destroyed, which caused the fragile ecological environment worsening. So how to make full use of the land resource and keep ecological environment balance will be the important and necessary topic during construction of high way in Karst area. Combined with the actual situation of the highway construction, the author analysis the characteristic of land occupation in the phase of route layout and design, and then bring forward a new route design model for land using reasonable during construction based on advanced GIS and RS technology. And by the neural network BP model and GIS technology, a new method for appreciation and classification of that temporary land was put forward to guide the land reclamation and restore inhere balance of the environment. Those methods can reduce the influence of many subject factors, so as to protect and make full use of the limited land resource, keep the balance of environment in Karst area.
