Abstract
Security is an important aspect of IMS deployment. According to the X.805 standard and STRIDE threat model, this paper proposes a multi-attribute stereo model applicable to IMS security analysis. This model addresses a comprehensive, top-down, end-to-end perspective of IMS security. A threat analysis of IMS network is made by adopting the model. The valuable assets of IMS are defined. Based on the security dimension they violate, classification of threats in IMS is provided. Vulnerabilities the threats utilize and the descriptions of the procedure are presented.
