Abstract :
A new three-phase single-stage rectifier is proposed in this paper. The outstanding features of the proposed rectifier are that it can produce input currents that do not have deadband regions and an output inductor current with less ripple that found in other previously proposed converters of the same type. In this paper, the operation of the new converter is explained, an analysis of its steady-state characteristics is performed and a procedure for its design is developed. Experimental results from that confirm the feasibility of the proposed converter are also presented.
