Abstract
A method of control laws reconfiguration for faulty systems is presented. When the performances of a system are corrupted by an actuator or a sensor failure, the control law must be modified in order to maintain the system within acceptable operating conditions. This paper is divided into two parts, in the first part, a method based on gain scheduling is presented. In the second part, a global reconfiguration approach, particularly well adapted to large scale system subject to critical failure is proposed. New operating conditions for subsystems predetermined according to the performances of the degraded system. The method is applied on thermal process affected by an actuator failure and simulation results are presented
