Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. In this paper, parallel-plate ladder waveguide (PPLWG) is proposed for mm-wave and terahertz guided-wave application. It is shown that the dominant mode of PPLWG has the same polarization as the TE1 mode of a standard parallel-plate waveguide and can be efficiently coupled to this mode. By presenting the results of simulation, realization of waveguide bend, filter, and delay line using PPLWG is also demonstrated.
