Abstract :
An example of circuit design is presented on new concept ac voltage/current regulator. Our Variable Capacitance Device was developed to be utilized in the power stage. For output voltage/current control and input PFC (power-factor correction), two Variable Capacitance Devices are used as linear capacitor. The unity input power factor can be obtained all over the CV (constant-voltage) region and the CC (constant-current) region.
