Abstract :
Pressure transducer is generally calibrated in room temperature. But in many applications, pressure transducer may be required to work in a very low temperature down to -40°C. Pressure measurement will be affected by extreme temperature in those cases. For example, those real experiments in cold area, transducer and its measurement system often work at very low temperatures. The paper describes a method of determining sensitivity of a piezoelectric pressure transducer in cryogenic environment. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the method is useful and effective. As a result, the environmental factor of pressure transducer in cryogenic environment can be calculated.
