Abstract
The generalized method of natural oscillations is applied to analyze a coaxial cavity, with corrugated outer conductor. Simplification of the cavity design is possible due to the use of this method. The predictability of the limits of the range of the solution existence is analyzed. Numerical examples are given for some typical cases
