Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. Thin-film superconducting microwave resonators play an important role in large superconducting cameras for applications ranging from cosmology to nuclear non-proliferation. The high quality factor and low loss of these devices make it possible to couple many resonators to a single feedline, enabling frequency-division multiplexing of large arrays. We review the use of superconducting microwave resonators for both microwave kinetic inductance detectors and superconducting transition-edge sensors.
