Abstract :
This paper proposes the input impedance measurement technique of a switching mode power supply (SMPS) by the insertion loss approach. The insertion loss approach with the assumption condition is described. The common mode and the differential mode impedance are the key parameters which can be used to design the EMI filter effectively.
