Abstract
The major paradigm used so far to attain education for all is to build schools and train teachers. But this may not be an adequate strategy for the present and the future, particularly in the developing world. We should give serious attention to alternatives to schools and teachers that might help reach education for all. This is the direction this paper pursues. There is a promising alternative to schools.
