Heterogeneous computing hardware consists of multi-core central processors and high-performance general purpose graphic processing units that are making their way into the world of the personal super-computer. This paper describes the techniques for harnessing the processing power of the emerging heterogeneous computing hardware and applies techniques to implement efficient transmission-line-matrix-method algorithms.
