Abstract :
Future prospects of a fluidized-bed, coal-gasified power generation system that concurrently produces methanol are discussed. Two systems were studied. One is a 500 MW class coal-gasified system that produces the methanol. The other is a 30 MW class, dispersed type, methanol-fueled, internal reforming system that uses the methanol produced by the first system. The conceptual design of both systems is described
