Is paice method suitable for evaluating Arabic stemming algorithms?

There are many measurement methodologies used to measure the quality of stemming algorithms and to evaluate their effectiveness. All of these measurement are designed for English language. In this study we trying to check the viability of the Paice evaluation method as a stemmer measurement approach for Arabic language. Eight experiments are designed for this aim. Conclusions about the experiments and the viability of the Paice evaluation for Arabic are reported.
