Abstract :
The main difficulty in forecasting and calculating the absorption and scattering of electromagnetic waves in rain is the absence of adequate statistical description of rain. The goal of this article is to fill this gap to a certain degree. A fractal model of spatio-temporal chaos of rain intensity is developed for calculating the fluctuations of the electromagnetic wave intensity by its passage through rain
