Abstract
To solve the problem of range dispersion of the dechirped echo caused by high-velocity radial motion, an improved method based on instant range-Doppler (IRD) is proposed. Firstly, a target echo model illuminated by wideband linear frequency modulated radar signal is built. Then the effect of high velocity on the target echoes is analyzed. On the feature of the orbit target with high radial velocity, a method based on instant range profile using the short-time Fourier transform (STFT) is presented. It is proved effective by computer simulation results.
