Abstract :
This paper introduces a novel capacity loaded dual mode waveguide band-pass filter. A 3-order dual mode waveguide filter has been designed at 8.3GHz, demonstrating a relative bandwidth of 9.6% from 7.9GHz to 8.4GHz with a VSWR as low as 1.3 and out band rejection of -60dB at 7.75GHz. This filter has been simulated, fabricated and tested. A good agreement between simulations and experiments was observed.
