Abstract :
In this paper, we consider the failure detection of static and dynamic eccentricity in the squirrel cage asynchronous machine (SCAM). After mentioning the techniques of diagnosing defects of electrical machines, we propose a model of asynchronous machine based on the method of magnetically coupled electrical circuits. The model proposed can simulate the performance of asynchronous machine during transient as well as at steady state, including the effect of static rotor eccentricity and effect of dynamic rotor eccentricity. This model allows the influence of defects on the general behavior of the asynchronous motor. We highlight the importance of frequency analysis for the diagnosis of failure to eccentricity. The study of the phenomena created on the various sizes in time of the machine by such defect, and more particularly the order harmonics appearing during the failure to define them as identifier such analyses have been lacking.
