Abstract
Echo return loss and impulse response are important characteristics of an echo path for the design of echo cancellers. The performance of the echo cancellers depends on the choice of adaptive filtering algorithm. This paper proposes a variable step-size algorithm for lattice form structure. The proposed algorithm is excellent in terms of convergence speed, low computational complexity, small number of adaptation coefficients and high performance. The structure´s stability was improved by echo return loss enhancement (ERLE).
