  • Abstract
    Network coverage rate is crucial to environment monitoring, in order to improve coverage rate, we impose a network coverage enhancement algorithm based on artificial fish-swarm algorithm. It bases on 3D directional sensing model, and decreases the overlap among sensors to increase coverage rate by optimizing sensors orientation angle. The simulation indicates that this method can improve coverage rate effectively. The optimized network coverage rate is growing about 4.4% compared with PSO and more nearer to the academic value.
