Abstract
This paper concerns the monitoring, controlling and documentation of cross-system processes. In these processes different persons and tools are involved in the execution. Gaps in the information flow exist because information is exchanged across system borders. A web based workflow management system, called Infineon Workflow Manager (iWoMan), has been developed to close these gaps and provide monitoring, controlling and documentation functions. This paper focuses on the development of iWoMan and elaborates to which extend it is possible to manage existing processes of Infineon Technologies AG. The main characteristics of iWoMan are described and an example is provided how an existing process of Infineon Technologies AG is supported by iWoMan.
