  • Abstract
Electrooptic light modulators are one of key elements to materialize future photonic systems for info-communication and instrumentation technologies. A number of possible MWP applications have been proposed and investigated, while a few practical devices have been implemented. With the recent growing interest in this area, we can expect rapid development in the utilization of lightwave technologies in microwave engineering, exploiting the potentiality in microwave and lightwave interactions through electrooptic effects.
