Abstract :
Position and speed estimation algorithm for permanent magnet synchronous motor is presented in this paper. Its principle is inspired by two existing techniques. The aim is to elaborate an estimator in accordance with some specifications, especially the ability to cancel any initial position error and robustness toward DC disturbance measured within the back-EMF. These specifications are realized by using a proportional-integral controller and an improved integrator in the estimation procedure. Experimental results are presented to show the realization of the objectives
