Abstract :
Wind power generation in the built environment can be used to the building itself without transportation. Theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and wind tunnel test were used to analyze the airflow around building. The building as a vector of wind power concentration was also studied. The form and the location of channel were optimized to the flat plate building, and three typical diffuser buildings were also simulated. Based on the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, four typical forms of building were tested in the wind tunnel. By comparing and analyzing the experimental data and the results of numerical simulation, the results show that the experimental data provides good agreement with simulation results, which validates the accuracy of the numerical simulation and lays experimental foundation of study on wind energy utilization in the built environment.
