Abstract :
Summary form only given. A single chip COFDM receiver is developed for digital terrestrial television (DVB-T). This is a joint development between National Semiconductor Corporation and Pioneer Digital Design Center (PDD). PDD have been actively involved with DTT development and have a collaboration agreement with the BBC. The BBC captured DTT test broadcasts under a wide range of reception conditions. These data have been used by PDD to develop algorithms. A software model has been developed to the extent that broadcast data can be demodulated and displayed. The receiver block diagram is shown and the functions of individual blocks are described
